Sylvia Meyer.

She was born in Montevideo, and studied at Conservatoria Universitario.

She currently lives and works in New York. She has written music for over 50 theatre plays in Uruguay in productions for the Comedia Nacional, Teatro El Galpon, Teatro Circular and Pequeño Teatro de Morondanga ; as well as soundtrack music for the following films:

“Rambleras” by Daniela Speranza, “Alma Mater”,and “La Deriva” by Álvaro Buela.

She has also created soundtracks for "For you"; "Drum Solo" ,"Fox in the mirror", and "Matinee" by Argentinean artist Liliana Porter, and her videos are featured, among other places at the collections of Museo Reina Sofía ( Madrid) , MOMA (New York) , Guggemhein Museum (New York) Malba (Buenos Aires) and Daros Foundation (Zurich).
